A School Supply Drive is running from August 9 to August 23 to help kids at the REACH start the school year off prepared. Please drop off all donations of notebooks, folders, pencils and pens, markers, highlighters, backpacks, planners, etc. to church in the box located in the Narthex Hallway.

Pastor Petersen is retiring at the end of the month. His last Divine Service at Mount Olive is August 16. Please join us afterwards for a Reception to follow at 11:00 am.
Mark Your Calendar: Monday, August 17, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Bring a bucket, cleaning supplies, and rags to clean Mt. Olive’s kitchen. Wipe out cupboards and drawers, dejunk where needed, wipe down appliances, and clean all sinks. Come and go as you are able. The more the merrier. Help Needed For Moving Bethany Students Into Dorms: On Saturday, August 22, from Noon to 1:30 pm, Mt. Olive will be assisting new students moving into the Teigen Hall and Anderson dormitories at Bethany. We need to provide a minimum of 10 volunteers, but would prefer to have closer to 20 if possible. Would you be able to lend a helping hand? If so, please meet outside either dorm at about 11:45 am. If you have a Mt. Olive shirt, please wear it. Thanks for considering this opportunity to show Christian love to our Bethany friends!

Parents of Preschoolers: Jesus’ Lambs at Peace Preschool invites you to enroll your child for the 2026-27 school year. Their Back-To-School Picnic is Tuesday, August 25, from 6-8 pm. The Sioux Trails Chapter of the American Guild of Organists continues its Summer Noontime Organ Recitals at 12:10 pm on Tuesdays in Mankato.
