Obituary: Christopher Allen Waltz, 31, was taken to heaven on Saturday, April 27th, 2019. Due to his compromised immune system, his body was unable to fight off an infection that ended his life. He was born on July 13th, 1987 to Mark and Lori (Scholten) Waltz, and was baptized into the Christian faith. He grew up in Gaylord, Minnesota, graduating from Sibley East High School in 2006 and then from Minnesota State University of Mankato in 2010 with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. In college he met Amanda (Andy) Windorski, and they were married on September 4th, 2010, making their home in Mankato, Minnesota. The Lord blessed them with five children. In January of 2015 he learned he had an autoimmune disease that had destroyed his kidneys, and he received a transplant from his mother-in-law, Laura Windorski, in July of the same year. Shortly after, he and his family moved to Emigrant, Montana, where he enjoyed spending time with his family, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, and having his daily soda. He is survived by his wife, Andy; four children, Grace, Oliver, Molly, and Lydia; parents, Mark and Lori (Scholten) Waltz; sibling, Jonathon (Erin) Waltz; grandparent, Dorothy Scholten, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nephews, a niece, and friends. He was preceded in death by his child, “Thing Three”, and grandparents,Nick and Virginia Hults-Waltz, and John Scholten. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Livingston, Montana,with an additional service on Friday, June 14th at Mt. We thank God for giving Linda to us as dedicated church member and loving friend. We will miss her dearly. We praise God for the salvation that He has won for Linda and for the comfort we have in knowing that she is at His side in eternal glory!
