November 2, 2025

Flowers on the altar for Sunday, November 2, are given to God’s glory by Will & Lisa Holt in honor of All Saints Day.

People We Are Praying For (We included prayers for these individuals in our recent church services):  Marjorie Espeland, Patricia Elwood, Ann Frederickson, Katie Tweit, Lorena Merseth, Jeanette Koberg, Norm Emerson, Carolyn Graham’s grandson Asher, and Kristen Lukasek and her family as her husband Matt recovers from surgery.

Affirmation of Baptism: Sunday, November 2, at 2nd service: Ian Paul Litynski, infant son of Michael & Kristin Litynski. Ian was baptized on October 18, 2025 by Pastor Ulrich. Sponsors are Matthew Matzke and Lori Litynski. May he ever be blessed by this Sacrament.

Time and Talents SurveyThe Board of Stewardship is inviting every member to complete Mount Olive’s Time and Talents Survey. This helps connect the gifts and abilities of our members with opportunities for service within our congregation. Please take a few minutes to fill out the form and indicate areas where you may be willing to help. Paper copies will be distributed as you enter church this Sunday, November 2. Ushers and Board of Stewardship Members will be at the doors at the end of the Service to collect the surveys. If you have questions, please contact Matt Wood (mwood@blc.edu) or Pastor Ulrich (lukeulrich@gmail.com). Thank you for sharing your time and talents in service to our Lord and His people.

All Mount Olive voters are encouraged to attend a special meeting in the church sanctuary on Sunday, November 2, at noon. The purpose of this meeting is to extend a call for a new Principal/Head of School. Any questions or concerns may be directed to the Board of Ed Chairman  Jake Krier at jkrier@blc.edu.

Donations Needed: We are looking for individually wrapped, non-perishable snack items to be donated for people in need because of a lack of SNAP benefits. Snack items can be brought to the office. Any questions can be directed to Becky Bequette - 507 420 6332.

Wednesday Evening DinnersWe understand that there may be some in our community who could use some extra assistance at this time with food and meals. With this in mind, Mount Olive will be hosting free dinners for our neighbors and community members in need on Wednesdays, November 5, 12, and 19.  We are looking for assistance with greeting, food preparation, serving, and clean up on these dates.  Sign-up sheets will be available in the narthex. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Bequette (becbeq@gmail.com
